University of San Francisco is seeking an Assistant Coach, Player Development for men’s basketball to guide individual skill growth and long-term development for student-athletes.   • Demonstrated expertise in individual skill instruction (shooting mechanics, ball-handling, footwork, finishing, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of film breakdown and player analytics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with student-athletes
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Summary

The Player Development Assistant Coach supports the overall success of the men's basketball program with a primary focus on the individual skill development and long-term growth of student-athletes, both on and off the floor. This position works closely with the coaching staff, strength and conditioning staff, and sports performance team to design and execute individualized development plans that improve on-court performance and prepare players to perform at their optimal level.

  • Relationships within the basketball community (grassroots, professional, scouting, agents, etc.) a plus
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full time
Pay Rate: Salary
Salary Range : $83,600-$139,032 annualized; commensurate with experience.
