Syracuse University is seeking an assistant coach for Men’s Rowing on campus in Syracuse, New York. This full-time role supports daily coaching, travel coordination, and NCAA paperwork under the Head Coach.

Responsibilities include directing facilities maintenance, assisting with administering a Division I program, and coordinating with the Recruiting Coordinator to assess prospective student-athletes. Evening and weekend hours will be required.

Pay Range

Pay Range $62,400 - $63,650

Pay rates at Syracuse University are based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, the job responsibilities; the candidate’s education, training, work experience and key competencies; the university’s strategic priorities; internal peer equity; applicable federal, state, local laws, grant funding and contractual requisites; and external market analyses.

Job Description

The assistant coach’s primary responsibilities include daily coaching duties as assigned by the Head Coach of Men’s Rowing and coordinating all aspects of administering a Division 1 rowing program. These duties include, but are not limited to: coordination of team travel, maintenance/repair of rowing and training equipment, assisting Recruiting Coordinator, NCAA paperwork.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years coaching or equivalent experience.

Must have a valid Driver’s License
