Role Summary

An Assistant Coach of a Valor Christian Athletic team will prepare tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ within the platform of the sport. The Coach, a committed follower of Jesus Christ, will provide support of the program, intentionally developing athletes’ faith in Jesus Christ and excellence in Christian Character, while instilling great work habits and teaching, stressing, and monitoring the primacy of academics.

  • Assist athletes and families in the College Recruiting process with the Assistant AD, College Recruiting.
  • Know and understand CHSAA rules and regulations with the Director of CHSAA Compliance.
  • Be a contributing member of the Valor Coaches Association by attending VCA events.

Physical Demands

The same basic physical demands apply to all employees. Employees must periodically lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and could occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral/depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
