Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley School District 410 is seeking an Assistant Coach for Cross Country for the fall season with an anticipated start date of 9/8/26. The position runs Monday through Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., with about 8 hours weekly.

The stipend ranges from $2,545 to $3,111 for the 2025-28 Coaches Salary Schedule. The assistant will support the Head Coach and supervise students, ensuring compliance with district policies and WIAA guidelines.

• Must understand and abide by WIAA policies, regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach implement and oversee the athletic program for the assigned sport(s).
• Provide supervision of students during all aspects of the program and model appropriate conduct for student athletes.

The purpose the Assistant Coach is to assist the Head Coach implement and oversee the athletic program for assigned sport(s). Essential tasks include providing supervision of students during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in program activities; serving as a positive role model to student athletes. The employee must understand and abide by all building, District and Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) policies, regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Coaches and Advisors who begin more than two weeks after their respective sport or activity begins will have their stipend prorated accordingly. Proration is based on total days worked in the season or activity versus total days of the season or activity.

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31).
