Greenville Country Club is seeking an Assistant Clubhouse Manager to help oversee daily clubhouse operations and deliver high-touch service to members and guests. As Assistant Clubhouse Manager, you'll help keep daily clubhouse operations running smoothly while delivering consistent, high-touch service to members and guests. This role exists to support front-of-house standards, coordinate teams across service areas, and ensure policies and presentation are upheld.
Key responsibilities include supervising clubhouse staff, assisting with scheduling and training, supporting member events and dining service, handling member questions and service recovery, and partnering with department leaders to maintain a polished, safe, and welcoming environment.
Required qualifications/skills:
You start by walking the clubhouse, checking readiness and connecting with team leads on what's happening across dining areas, events, and member spaces. Throughout the day, you move between the floor and the office-answering member needs, adjusting plans as traffic changes, and keeping communication clear between departments. You'll step in to resolve issues quickly, keep service standards consistent, and wrap up by reviewing notes from the shift so the next team is set up for success.
