Job summary

Taymax Group, LP is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Concord, CA club to oversee operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience. You will work with the Club Manager to foster a positive team atmosphere while driving a financially successful club.

You will recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff, ensure exceptional customer service, manage scheduling, and assist in payroll processing. CPR certification is required, and reliable transportation is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience preferred in gym or retail.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite) and ability to learn systems quickly.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Hard working, energetic and passionate about health and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff coverage.
