Job description

Job Overview :

The key function of the Assistant Club Manager will be to help the Club Manager run the day-to-day operations of the club. The Assistant Club Manager will actively participate in the team and play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for Members, Guests, and team members throughout the club.

Responsibilities :

• This role involves various duties, from enhancing member experience to team development. You will support the Club Manager in:
• Driving sales through successful tours and lead generation activities
• Implementing initiatives that support the Blink member experience
• Managing staff performance daily
• Assisting in increasing Personal Training revenue
• Interviewing, hiring, training, and developing new staff
• Directly responsible for:
• Conducting weekly inventory, including retail, beverage, marketing collateral, and maintenance supplies
• Placing monthly supply and retail orders via the Blink web portal
• Creating schedules for Front Desk and Maintenance
• Ordering drinks weekly
• Managing cash reconciliation and deposits
• Receiving and adjusting retail inventory using club management software
• Onboarding new associates
• Team Responsibilities :
• Facilitating new Member sign-ups and Guest trial transactions
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all club areas
• Maintaining high visibility within the club
• Ensuring safety for Members, Guests, and Team
• Promoting a fun and prideful work environment

Requirements :

Qualifications :

• Proven leadership in educational, fitness, or professional settings
• At least one (1) year of management, key holder, or MOD experience in a customer service environment
• Ability to lead and train a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Honesty and personal integrity
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and personable
• Passionate, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the fitness industry
• Current CPR / AED certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hardworking and diligent
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
