Description

Job Overview: The key function of the Assistant Club Manager will be to help the Club Manager run the day-to-day operations of the club. The Assistant Club Manager will be an active team participant, leading by example with warm, engaging, upbeat, and positive energy while serving Members, Guests, and team members throughout the club.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Club Manager will support the Club Manager in:

  • Driving sales through successful tour execution and lead generation activities
  • Executing initiatives that support the delivery of the Blink member experience
  • Managing staff performance daily
  • Assisting in driving Personal Training revenue
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, and developing new staff members

The Assistant Club Manager will be directly responsible for:

  • Conducting weekly inventory, including retail, beverage, marketing collateral, and maintenance supplies
  • Placing monthly supply and retail orders via the Blink web portal
  • Creating Front Desk and Maintenance schedules
  • Ordering drinks weekly
  • Managing cash reconciliation and deposit processes
  • Receiving and adjusting retail inventory using club management software
  • Completing onboarding of new associates

Team Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating new Member sign-ups and Guest trial transactions
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all club areas
  • Maintaining high visibility throughout the club
  • Ensuring the safety of Members, Guests, and Team
  • Promoting pride and having fun

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in educational, fitness, or professional settings
  • Minimum one (1) year management, key holder, or MOD experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to direct and train team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Honesty and personal integrity
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and personable
  • Passionate, knowledgeable about the fitness industry
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hardworking and diligent
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
