Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking an energetic Assistant Club Manager to lead daily operations, drive membership growth, and elevate team performance. You will work with the General Manager to foster an inclusive environment and deliver world-class customer service in a high-impact leadership role.

You’ll recruit, train, and coach staff, manage sales targets, and ensure smooth payroll and reporting while maintaining a safe, welcoming club culture in a fast-paced gym setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus; minimum age 18.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality.
• A documented history of achieving sales/performance goals and leading teams.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Assistant Club Manager Role

The Assistant Club Manager (ACM) is the driving force behind the club’s daily operations, membership growth, and team performance. Working hand-in-hand with the General Manager, you are a core leader responsible for fostering an inclusive environment, driving sales results, and ensuring every member who walks through our doors experiences world‑class customer service. This is a high‑impact leadership role that blends operational excellence, business development, and a passion for people.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building the Dream Team: Assist the General Manager with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training a diverse, high‑performing club staff. Provide ongoing coaching, huddles, and performance evaluations to ensure team growth and accountability.
• Driving the Business: Oversee the membership sales process from initial inquiry to closing. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets to ensure the club meets or exceeds its revenue goals.
• Operational Excellence: Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal floor coverage, maintain a clean, safe, and organized club environment through regular walkthroughs, and support administrative functions like payroll processing and reporting. Assume full leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.
• Member Success & Retention: Resolve member inquiries and concerns with a professional, solution‑oriented approach. Foster a welcoming culture that drives community engagement and support local marketing outreach.

• Proven Track Record: A documented history of achieving sales/performance goals and leading high‑performing teams.
