Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ seeks an Assistant Powerlifting Coach to support a growing club program. You will assist with daily operations, athlete development, and competition preparation, working closely with the Head Coach and Campus Recreation staff to maintain a positive, safe, and competitive environment for student-athletes.
Responsibilities include planning practices, coaching technique, creating programs, tracking progress, and traveling to select competitions.
Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Powerlifting Coach to support the growth and development of the club powerlifting program. The Assistant Coach will assist with daily team operations, athlete development, strength training, competition preparation, and overall program management. This position works closely with the Head Coach and Campus Recreation staff to provide a positive, safe, and competitive environment for student-athletes.
The Assistant Powerlifting Coach reports directly to the Head Powerlifting Coach and works collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation for Club Sports.

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the hourly base range for this position is $16.00-$16.00 per hour. This range represents the University's good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation, such as incentives, stipends, or other applicable pay components.
