The role includes hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with direct service on site twice weekly and collaboration with agency staff and guardians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; minimum 1 year residential care experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to supervise staff and provide leadership.
• Health status verification required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Three acceptable references.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills basic duties of Direct Care Staff as needed.
• Screens, hires and supervises CLS site personnel, their training and performance.
• Organizes site staffing according to service authorizations and consumer needs.
• Develops, implements, and supervises client services.
• Consults with contracting agency staff and service providers in assessing client needs.
• Ensures client records, program data, site maintenance and financial records are updated regularly.
• Manages and supervises the use of consumer funds, completing required reports monthly.
• Serves as primary contact for communications with agency staff, parents, guardians, school and workshop staff.
• Ensures sites are maintained in a clean, homelike manner.
• Monitors agency vehicle use and maintenance for compliance.
• Participates in Quality Improvement efforts and monitors regulatory policies.
• Provides direct service to consumers and supervision of site staff by working in consumer sites twice weekly.

Qualifications:

• -Minimum education level: high school diploma
• -Minimum of 1 year experience in residential care services
• -Ability to complete training required for position

10. Monitors agency vehicle use, records and maintenance to assure compliance with agency standards.
11. Participates in agency Quality Improvement efforts.
12. Maintains an awareness of agency and state regulatory agencies policies. Monitors and directs site compliance to these regulations.
13. Provides direct service to consumers and supervision of site staff by working in consumer sites twice weekly.
