Responsibilities

1. Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
2. Assist with developing interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills, including creating materials for various behavior programs, such as in-home therapy and at schools.
3. Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in implementing positive supports and behavioral interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and specific client goals.
4. Help develop goals across areas like communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help, and recreational skills in consultation with the clinical supervisor.
5. Assist in the intake process, observations, and initial behavior assessments of clients.
6. Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data, and provide feedback on their performance.
7. Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure data accuracy and coach Behavior Therapists to reduce discrepancies.
8. Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.

Qualifications

1. Must be enrolled in a Master's program or have a Master’s Degree in a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience working as a Behavior Therapist.
3. 2-3 years of experience working with children aged 2-18 with developmental disabilities.
