Position: Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (Remote Opportunity)

Location: School of Medicine, Stanford, California, United States

Department: Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

Research Focus: Clinical trials on preventive interventions for substance use, involving participant recruitment, data collection, stakeholder engagement, and related activities.

Work Arrangement: Remote, on-site 1 day per week or less.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct literature reviews and syntheses.
  • Conduct qualitative interviews and focus groups, analyze data.
  • Schedule and contact participants, send reminders.
  • Prepare regulatory documents, maintain forms and logs.
  • Assist with participant screening, recruitment, and consent.
  • Extract data from source documents.
  • Process study payments and send thank you letters.
  • Assist with post-study activities.
Qualifications
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • BA/BS in Psychology, Human Biology, or related field.
  • Relevant clinical research experience, especially with mental health or substance use.
  • Knowledge of GCP or willingness to learn.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills.
Education & Experience

Two-year college degree and one year of relevant experience or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency in MS Office and Google Drive.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, fine grasping.
  • Occasional sitting, reaching, lifting up to 40 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $23.33 - $29.51. Benefits include career development, health, retirement, and work-life balance resources.
