Job summary

Bayside Marin Treatment Center in San Rafael, CA is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director to lead our clinical team, oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a patient-centered treatment environment.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, ASAM knowledge, and a strong focus on quality outcomes. A Master’s degree and 5+ years in behavioral health are required, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Psychiatric Nursing required.
• Five or more years’ experience in behavioral health services with clinical experience with all target populations (SMI, SED, DD, SUD) required.
• Three or more years’ supervision experience required.
• Management or administration experience and/or three years work experience in Utilization Management required.
• Meet credentialing requirements: QMHP/CMHP/QMRP and full licensure (LLP/LP, LPC, LMSW, NP/RN).
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification preferred/training offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned.
• Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access.
• Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed.
• Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
• Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs.
• Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate.
• Represent the company at meetings in the community.
