Job summary

Beazley is seeking an Assistant Claims Manager to lead select claims and support group-wide claims management. The role focuses on low to mid value claims, with close collaboration with underwriters and brokers to achieve high client satisfaction.

You will work under group leaders to develop claims strategy and maintain Beazley’s standards. Accurate reserving, proactive claim handling, and contribution to portfolio performance are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate calibre.
• Past claims experience establishing liability and/or settlement resolutions.
• Functional knowledge of claims management process and insurance market.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual claims from notification to closure with appropriate involvement.
• Support claims management to achieve high client and broker satisfaction.
• Collaborate with underwriters, brokers and insureds to optimise outcomes.
• Assist in portfolio management, reserving controls, and claim trends analysis.
