The Provo City Legal Department is looking for an attorney to serve as part-time legal counsel, with both civil and criminal duties. This position requires knowledge of principles and practices of civil law and criminal prosecution.
Pay Rate: $46.65 - $69.25 per hour (depending on qualifications)

Up to 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, during business hours (7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). Periodic evening work may be required. Schedule to be discussed during interview.
This position requires sitting at a computer and maintaining concentrated attention to detail for long periods. It requires court appearances and depositions in public and private buildings and exposure to stressful situations including strict deadlines, broad objectives, and dealing with individuals in highly emotional states. Work is performed inside an environmentally controlled building. May be exposed to unknown, dangerous, and/or hostile conditions.
