Provo City is seeking a part-time Assistant City Attorney in Provo, Utah, to serve civil and criminal duties within the City Legal Department. The role requires knowledge of civil law and criminal prosecution, with up to 25 hours weekly and potential evening work.

Qualifications

Periodic evening work may be required. Schedule to be discussed during interview.**What are the physical and environmental factors?**This position requires sitting at a computer and maintaining concentrated attention to detail for long periods. It requires court appearances and depositions in public and private buildings and exposure to stressful situations including strict deadlines, broad objectives, and dealing with individuals in highly emotional states. Work is performed inside an environmentally controlled building.
