Chroma Early Learning Academy in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an Assistant Childcare Teacher to support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children. You will help implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

The role involves assisting with lesson preparation, maintaining a clean classroom, monitoring behavior, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Familiarity with Georgia Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
• Reliable, patient, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Lead Teacher in day-to-day care of the children in the classroom.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
• Support implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum promoting sensory exploration and early development.
• Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate with families.
• Follow licensing, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required training.
