Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Certified Teacher and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children in our Massachusetts program. You will assist with daily classroom operations, supervise staff, implement curriculum, and foster sustainable education practices.

In this role you will build relationships with families, participate in conferences, and contribute to a positive school culture while meeting licensing standards and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in childcare or school management.
• Director state credentials.
• Strong knowledge of state childcare regulations and licensing standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive enrollment growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily classroom operations and supervision under the Certified Teacher.
• Support in maintaining safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• Lead in family interaction and parent communications as directed by the School Director.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for staff, including training and coaching.
• Support operational leadership duties and center-wide performance metrics.
