Job summary

Beginners Inn Child Care & Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and dependable Assistant Child Care Teachers to join our team in Michigan. Full-Time & Part-Time positions are available starting immediately.

You will help provide a safe, nurturing classroom, support the Lead Teacher, engage children in age-appropriate play, assist with meals and transitions, and maintain a welcoming environment while collaborating with our team.

Qualifications

• Must meet Michigan child care licensing requirements.
• Previous child care experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning experiences
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, nap time, and classroom transitions
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Support developmentally appropriate learning experiences and curriculum
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Work collaboratively with our teaching team
