Job summary

GoJet Airlines is seeking an Assistant Chief Pilot in St. Louis, MO. The role reports to the Chief Pilot and focuses on safety enhancements, regulatory compliance, and interdepartmental coordination with the Chief Pilot.

The position requires an airline transport pilot certificate with appropriate ratings and ongoing engagement in industry training to maintain qualifications and flight safety standards in accordance with 14 CFR.

Qualifications

• Hold an airline transport pilot certificate with appropriate ratings for at least one airplane operated by the certificate holder.
• Be qualified through training, experience, and expertise.
• Understand 14 CFR and the certificate holder's operations specifications, maintenance and airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security are the first considerations in aircraft operations and promote safety as a core value.
• Perform SMS Facilitator duties as assigned by the departmental director.
• Ensure all flight operations are conducted within all applicable parts of 14 CFR, TSRs, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain Regulations, AIM, Operations Bulletins, Read Files, etc., and disseminate pertinent information to Flight Crewmembers.
• Assist the Chief Pilot in ensuring compliant use of the Weight/Balance Program for revenue flights.
• Ensure pilots are aware of and remain sensitive to customer requirements.
• Manage items assigned in the Q-Pulse database in a timely manner.
