Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Monroe seeks an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer/Infection Control (ACNO) to lead infection control initiatives and nursing services policy development. You will coordinate with the CEO, CMO, CNO and clinical staff to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualified candidates are registered nurses with GA licensure (NLC acceptable) and at least three years’ RN experience, with infection control experience preferred. Competitive compensation with bonuses and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Georgia or NLC
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience with infection control preferred
• Experience developing and revising nursing policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing/revising policies for Nursing Services within Medical Staff guidelines
• Review progress, quality and effectiveness of nursing programs
• Evaluate nursing care practices and initiate new programs or studies
• Maintain current departmental manuals for Nursing Services
• Oversee patient admissions, discharges and transfers coordination
• Lead/educate staff in infection control and epidemiology principles
