Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the NBCRNA.
• 3 years clinical experience in anesthesia care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care.
• Assumes all duties of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist during his/her absence from the unit.
• Establishes effective interpersonal relationships and communication with interdisciplinary perioperative teams.
• Demonstrates effective leadership and is responsible for ongoing professional growth and development.
• Adheres to legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Contributes to department, division and hospital goals.
