Job summary

Hilton Ballpark is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our management team. This role assists the Chief Maintenance Engineer in overseeing maintenance programs, building systems, and guest areas to ensure safety, efficiency, and a well-maintained property.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Two years post high school education preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing daily maintenance operations and ensure completion of work orders and preventive tasks.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life safety and building systems.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, grounds and back-of-house areas for maintenance needs and brand standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment life and reduce disruptions.
• Supervise, train and coach maintenance staff; provide direction and ensure quality workmanship.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations, guest requests and equipment failures promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with vendors, oversee contractors, manage projects and capital improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing supplies and parts.
