JLL in Malvern, PA is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to lead maintenance staff, respond to service requests, diagnose equipment, and oversee preventative maintenance on-site at our Malvern, PA location.

The role requires 5+ years in facility/plant engineering maintenance, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and proficiency with MS Office. On-site work; able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility/plant engineering maintenance experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in maintenance operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for staff management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff and monitor work quality.
• Respond to maintenance service requests with minimal tenant disruption.
• Diagnose equipment and determine corrective actions.
• Provide hands-on training on tools, procedures, safety, troubleshooting.
• Oversee preventative maintenance program and scheduling.
• Order parts and manage inventory.
• Ensure hazardous materials compliance and maintain safe workplace.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain supplier relationships.
• Assist Chief Engineer during absence.
