Responsibilities

• Oversee Climatec HVAC system operations and maintenance.
• Ensure elevators are functioning; coordinate with service vendors (KONE).
• Inspect and maintain fire safety systems; schedule inspections.
• Manage annual To Do schedule; adjust tasks as needed.
• Perform routine building maintenance tasks (lighting, ice machines, etc.).

Overview

The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the building's critical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves managing HVAC systems, fire safety equipment, elevators, and various other mechanical and electrical components.

Days/Shift: Monday through Friday, 7am - 4pm

Pay: $26.27/hour

Responsibilities

HVAC computer – Climatec system

• Boiler on, temperature, flow pressure

• Chilled water differential pressure

• AHU 11-1 coil temperature

• Checking all room temperatures

• Adjusting room temperatures

• Climatec contacts

Elevators

• Ensure all are working properly

• Call in issues to KONE

• Abe mobile phone information

Fire Systems

• Schedule December inspections

• Pumps, sprinklers, tanks, smoke heads, panel, extinguishers, hoses

• Generators

Other items

• Check annual To Do schedule – add, make changes, adjust as needed.

• Change ballasts.

• Light bulb replacement & storage

• Ice machine maintenance

• Cut keys

• Sebastian morning / daily duties
