State of California seeks an Assistant Chief Counsel to plan, organize, direct, and review the work of professional legal staff for DMHC regulation and enforcement under the Knox-Keene Act. The ACC directs investigatory work of the Division of Plan Surveys and serves as legal advisor to the Deputy Director.

The position requires strong knowledge of health care service plan programs and trends, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects with discretion and integrity.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of health care service plan programs and trends
• Background with implementation of major programs in health care
• Managerial and leadership experience supervising a team of ten attorneys
• Experience providing high level consultation or recommendations to management
• Strong knowledge of data collection, data analysis, and reporting
• Ability to develop and implement new policies and procedures and adapt to shifting priorities
