Job summary

Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks an Assistant Chef to join the culinary team and deliver high-quality food with care and attention to detail. You will help the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring fast-paced, high-volume service and exceptional guest experiences.

Three or more years of culinary experience are required; hotel or banquet experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related culinary experience.
• Previous hotel or hospitality culinary experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, recipes, and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Complete daily prep and ensure stations are stocked and organized for service.
• Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, portion size, temperature, and presentation.
• Assist closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team for smooth operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and storage standards.
• Support banquet functions and other culinary outlets as needed.
