Oregon Trail School District #46 is seeking an Assistant Cheerleading Coach for the basketball season at Sandy High School. The role involves coaching the Junior varsity cheer team and supporting the program during tryouts and camps.

The ideal candidate holds NFHS Coaching Certification and First Aid/CPR certification (or can obtain them). Strong communication with students, parents, staff, and the community is essential.

Qualifications

• NFHS Coaching Certification is required.

Position: Assistant Cheerleading Coach for Basketball Season
Responsible for coaching the Junior varsity cheer team.
Qualifications:

• NFHS Coaching Certification required.
• Previous coaching and/or experience as a cheerleader/coachdesired.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR (or ability to obtain certification).
• Ability to motivate and guide high school athletes in developingskills and characteristics that promote the goals of the school's sports program.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, staff, and the general public.

The fall season doesn't officially begin until mid-August. However, this position starts working in late April for tryouts and then again in late June camps, etc
Salary/Benefits: Salary dependent upon position classification and FTE
Seasonal extra duty assignment.
