Job summary

Oregon Trail School District #46 is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach for Welches Middle School. This 1.0 FTE position focuses on building a strong middle school program, developing players, and coordinating practices and games.

The coach will supervise and mentor student-athletes, communicate with families and staff, and uphold district safety and eligibility policies. Certification in NFHS, First Aid/CPR, and coaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• NFHS Coaching Certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of basketball instruction & game management.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, staff, and the general public.
• Ability to motivate and guide middle school athletes in developing skills and characteristics that promote the goals of the school's sports program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Welches Middle School girls basketball program.
• Plan and supervise practices, drills, and game strategy.
• Coordinate with school staff, parents, and community supporters.
• Uphold safety, eligibility, and district policies during all activities.
