Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora in Colorado seeks an Executive-level, Assistant Chief Financial Officer to oversee the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department. This senior role directly supports the hospital CFO and drives capital asset management, governance, and financial performance across the facility.

You will lead strategy, strengthen internal controls, and mentor teams while partnering with clinical leaders to align financial and patient-care goals in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or other related area required.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred
• Minimum of three years in finance/accounting or public accounting/audit experience
• Experience as a hospital Controller preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• You will demonstrate understanding of application of healthcare finance to impact clinical and financial results
• You will execute HCA Healthcare’s capital asset management process
• You will demonstrate knowledge of HIM and Case Management/Care Coordination functions
• You will establish expertise in productivity, staffing and scheduling
• You will demonstrate competence in hospital accounting, internal control environment and compliance requirements
• You will establish executive presence (temperament, competencies and skills across situations)
