Job summary

Mathnasium Learning Centers in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to lead a small team, manage student assessments and learning plans, and drive enrollment. You will work closely with the Center Director to deliver Mathnasium Method instruction and ensure a welcoming learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong preference for proficiency in Math up to Algebra 1.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans.
• Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads, conducting student assessments and enrolling students.
• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
• Lead and coach instructors to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a small group setting.
• Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications for Assistant Center Manager:

We are looking for applicants with customer facing experience with a positive attitude and team building skills. This position requires more soft skills such as communicating with kids, parents and instructor staff; follow up with customers, making sure we understand their goals about their kids' math education. Being persistent and thorough in all work processes.

Some other qualifications include:

Compensation:

$50,000 to $60000 per year. Varies depending on experience.

Mathnasium locations are independentlyowned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC (\"Mathnasium\"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
