Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks an Assistant Center Director to help lead our early childhood centers. You will work closely with the Center Director to ensure high-quality education, operational excellence, and strong family engagement.

You’ll educate and support parents and teachers while abiding by state guidelines and center policies. This role offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment with opportunities to grow within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Two years in early childhood education or related setting preferred.
• Strong administrative, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff and managing enrollment, accreditation, and operations.
• Collaborate with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
• Occasionally serve in multiple roles within the center as needed, such as teacher, cook, or driver.
