The Learning Experience #481 is seeking an Assistant Director in Smyrna, GA to support the Center Director and lead staff in delivering high-quality early education. You will bridge Lead Teachers and the Center Director, coordinating enrollment, curriculum planning, and daily operations.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and extensive childcare leadership experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to drive safety, engagement, and growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive childcare leadership experience and strong knowledge of early childhood education principles.

Responsibilities

• Support Center Director in managing daily operations including staff scheduling and enrollment.
• Mentor Lead Teachers and provide feedback to foster professional growth.
• Oversee curriculum implementation of the LEAP Curriculum®, adapting to individual child needs.
• Prioritize safety and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Communicate with parents to share progress and keep lines of communication open.
• Address challenges in the center and develop creative solutions.
