Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers and support enrollment, accreditation, and day-to-day operations. You will work with families, teachers, and community partners to provide high-quality early childhood education.

You will collaborate with the Center Director to supervise staff, ensure compliance with licensing, and deliver exceptional experiences for children and families. This is a center-based, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal and listening skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, families, and enrollment objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
• Serve in various roles at the center as needed (teacher, cook, driver).
