Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead our center teams and support families with high-quality early education. You will collaborate with the Center Director to drive enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• At least two years in early childhood education, knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with children and parents.
• Willing to request accommodation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff and supporting families to meet enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
• Serve in various roles within the center as needed, including teacher, cook, or driver.
