Job summary

The Learning Experience in Canton, OH is seeking an Assistant Center Director with daycare or preschool leadership experience to oversee daily operations, staff, and family engagement. This role reports to the Center Director and offers opportunities to shape a dynamic learning environment for young children.

You will ensure safety and licensing compliance, recruit and develop teachers, and organize community events and tours to showcase the program.

Qualifications

• Center leadership/management experience preferred.
• State Administrative or Director credential required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and foster trust, inclusivity, and engagement.
• Ensure health and safety compliance with licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain qualified staff through sourcing, training, and coaching.
• Guide teachers with the curriculum and drive engaging learning experiences.
