Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead centers with strong curriculums and accreditation processes. You will support families, staff, and center operations while aligning with our mission to provide quality early childhood education.

You will collaborate with parents, teachers, and licensing authorities, stepping into multiple roles as needed to ensure smooth center operation and exceptional learning experiences for children.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
