Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers with world-class curriculum and dedicated staff. You will support the Center Director in achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals while partnering with parents to ensure outstanding care and education for children.

As part of a team, you will collaborate with teachers, licensing authorities, and partners to deliver exceptional experiences in a dynamic early-childhood environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of early childhood education experience with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
