Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Director to lead centers alongside the Center Director, guiding teaching staff, families, and operations. You will educate parents and teachers on the value of early childhood education and translate that value into real classroom outcomes.

As part of a team backed by world-class curriculum and accreditation processes, you will help drive enrollment, staff development, and operational excellence across our centers nationwide.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience required, with understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Indicate if you require reasonable accommodation to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles within the center as needed (teacher, cook, driver).
