BrightPath Kids Inc in Princeton, NJ, seeks an Assistant Director to collaborate with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a caring, standards-driven environment for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years.

You will help ensure safety, staff alignment with classroom objectives, licensing compliance, and smooth administrative operations, including substitute coverage and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE with 2 years' experience or Master's in ECE with 1 year.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must meet state criteria for childcare employment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks–12 years.
• Ensure staff understand center objectives and expectations.
• Assist Center Director with licensing and internal policies.
• Handle administrative duties in the center office.
• Substitute as Center Director when needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
