Job summary

The Learning Experience in Natick, MA is seeking an Assistant Center Director to join our leadership team. You will work with the Center Director to develop teachers, support families, ensure licensing compliance, and deliver an exceptional early childhood education experience daily.

Responsibilities include partnering with the Center Director to run daily operations, recruiting and developing staff, maintaining schedules and classroom ratios, coaching teachers, and promoting family engagement

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Director I & II qualifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience in licensed childcare or preschool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Center Director to support daily center operations.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop teaching staff.
• Create staff schedules and maintain classroom ratios.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback.
• Support teachers in implementing LEAP Curriculum.
• Maintain employee records and licensing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations, health and safety requirements.
• Build relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Support enrollment growth and family engagement.
• Conduct center tours for prospective families.
