KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director at our Evanston, IL location. You will support the Center Director, lead teaching staff, engage with families, and help achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

You will work in a team environment with strong emphasis on child education and safety, earning a retention bonus and competitive hourly pay in Illinois. This role is on-site and involves various center duties.

Qualifications

• Two years in early childhood education with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 lb, and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and families.

Responsabilités

• Assist Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Support center operations and staffing in various roles as needed (teacher, cook, driver).
• Receive a $1,000 retention bonus after 100 days of employment.
