KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers with world-class curriculum, parental education, and strong staff engagement. You will collaborate with a Center Director to drive enrollment, accreditation, and high-quality care for children and families in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience required.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and to work indoors or outdoors.
• English literacy to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
• Serve in various roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
