Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers to success, guiding teachers, supporting families, and achieving enrollment and accreditation goals. You will collaborate with parents and staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

You will partner with Center Directors, state authorities, and corporate partners to ensure exceptional experiences for children and families.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience, with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communications skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Must read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in roles at times, including teacher, cook, or driver.
