Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks an Assistant Center Director to lead teaching staff, support families, and hit enrollment and accreditation goals at a busy center. You’ll partner with the Center Director to implement world-class curriculum and ensure high-quality care for children.

In this role you’ll interact with families, licensing authorities, and community partners, and occasionally serve as teacher, cook, or driver as needed.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, and listening skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
