Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers with a caring team and a focus on enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations.

You’ll collaborate with families and staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education, while supporting licensing and partnerships. The Minnesota premium applies to classroom hours in addition to the base pay range.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
