Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring an Assistant Caregiver in memory care to join our full-time Resident Care team in Phoenix. The role involves supporting residents in Memory Care and Assisted Living, helping with daily activities, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

You will transport residents to activities, respond to calls, and assist with safety and comfort. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain state certification within 30

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification.
• Experience working with elderly population preferred.
• If not certified, must obtain certification within 30 days of hire if required.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• May be asked to provide non hands-on assistance to residents in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or both
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met
• CPR certification
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
• If not certified, must be able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire, if required
