Great Hearts Academies seeks an Assistant Campus Coordinator for the Louisiana program. This 12-month, 0.6-time (24 hours weekly), non-benefits-eligible role reports to the Campus Coordinator and supports the Co-Curricular Programs and After-School Athenaeum.
The role requires strong communication, organization, and ability to manage staff and student activities, while upholding the 9 Core Virtues of Great Hearts. CPR/First Aid may be required later.

Salary Range: $16.50-17.50
The Co-Curricular programs at Great Hearts Academies include After-School Athenaeum and Summer Programs.The duties of the Assistant Campus Coordinator include providing managerial and operational support to the Campus Coordinator.This is a 12-month, .6-time (24 hours weekly), non-benefits-eligible position, reporting to the Campus Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be a principled, professional leader with an independent work ethic and a heart of service to others. They must demonstrate sound business judgment and wisdom in dealing with people. They will possess requisite experience in the field of liberal arts and/or education, as well as experience with children and children’s programming. Some college preferred. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification required upon hire.
Successful completion of fingerprinting and background check with Louisiana State Police is required.
Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.
Travel required: May need to travel locally to academies within the Baton Rouge area.
