Job summary

Camp Lincoln in Minnesota is hiring an Assistant Director of Operations and Staffing to lead seasonal staff recruitment and support ongoing staff development and operational planning.

You will work closely with camp leadership to build a prepared seasonal team and keep daily operations organized, contributing to camper and staff experiences. Camp Lincoln is part of Cote Hospitality family of businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Residential summer camp leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, HR, or onboarding preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CampMinder or ADP a plus.
• Interest in developing young people and seasonal staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard seasonal staff with camp leadership.
• Coordinate staff orientation, training, and ongoing development.
• Support staff scheduling, logistics, communication, and day-to-day needs.
• Coordinate supplies, purchasing, vehicles, and other resources.
• Create a welcoming work environment with clear expectations and feedback.
• Support recruiting outreach and camp marketing efforts.
• Contribute to year-round planning and summer preparations.
• Gather postseason feedback and suggest staffing/ops improvements.
